Background: 2003 NH PHA received a minigrant that supported first Impaired Driving Summit in New Hampshire 200 attendees from a broad spectrum from law enforcement, educators, treatment and prevention. Request for annual conference with next conference looking at other driving impairments and medical issues as well as alcohol. As much as 60 percent of fatal crashes involve impairment. New Hampshire lacks medical guidance for safe driving performance.
